A former broadcast journalist who worked as a producer, anchor and reporter at several Canadian TV stations, Tanis made the transition into public relations almost two decades ago. Within that time, she worked at a variety of public relations agencies including Benchmark Porter Novelli and Optimum Public Relations before becoming the Communications Manager at Statistics Canada. In 2007, she took the leap into freelancing and quickly expanded her client list to include companies like the Dilawri Group of Companies, Waterfront Capital Group and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association. Today, she works with a team of associates and has built a reputation as an industry leader for her keen ability to build brands, identify opportunities, and exceed client expectations.

Tanis is a member of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and has been profiled by the Canadian Public Relations Society as a notable public relations associate in British Columbia.
